Training in the transport of dangerous goods (HAZMAT) according to the STCW Convention is crucial for maritime safety. Dangerous goods are substances threatening health, property, or the environment during transport. The International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code regulates maritime transport rules for hazardous materials.
