The training program follows IMO Model Course 1.19. It covers updating knowledge and skills in identifying shipboard hazards and using life-saving equipment.

Certificate issued by the Maritime Office, valid for 5 years, requires renewal at a training center.
Training goal
The training aims to:
- Identify shipboard hazards
- Locate life-saving equipment
- Use pyrotechnic signaling devices
- Operate radio distress equipment
- Act appropriately in emergency situations
Requirements
Wymagania wstępne:
- Ważne świadectwo przeszkolenia w zakresie indywidualnych technik ratunkowych LUB świadectwo z przedziału nie dłuższego niż rok po wygaśnięciu
- 6-miesięczna praktyka pływania w okresie ostatnich 5 lat
- Ubranie sportowe, klapki, czepek i strój kąpielowy (bez luźnych szortów/bermud)
